Our StoryLazy Circles Brewing has always been fueled by a passion for craft beer and community. This dedicated crew—including Melanie Caudle, Robert Love, Stan Moore, Lynne Jones, Jeff Shaw, and Lacy Pennington—came together through a shared love of both. At Lazy Circles, we discovered more than just great brews—we found friendship, connection, and a true sense of belonging. We have worked hard to continue the legacy that began in 2017.
Lazy Circles started with former owners Holly Basey-Swanson, Stephen Swanson, and Stephen Basey, who began as homebrewers. Their goal was to create a local craft beer experience centered on serving the city of Norman. They envisioned a space where community members could gather with friends and family to enjoy quality craft beer.
Since opening the doors, Lazy Circles has become a staple of East Downtown Norman—a place where the community is celebrated, connections are made, and great beer brings people together. We invite you to join us in the taproom sometime. Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting for the first time, we’d love to get to know you!
